Louisville Weekend

This past weekend we went to Louisville to visit Abby and Jeff & Andrea, and to celebrate Abby's 20th birthday. On Saturday morning, after a delicious breakfast at Wild Eggs, a local Louisville place, we went to Huber's farm to pick apples.

Then Saturday night we celebrated Abby's birthday at Jeff & Andrea's home. Mom made red beans & rice, Andrea made carrot cake (requested by the birthday girl). We also played a rousing game of Apples to Apples, which we let the birthday girl win. ;)

 

On Sunday we all went to church with Jeff & Andrea, then ended the evening around the new fire pit outside the Mullins dorm (my former dorm, now Abby's home during school).

Monday morning we got up bright and early to have breakfast in the caf with Abby before she had class at 8:30, then took some family pictures out in the j-bowl.

Big thanks to Jeff & Andrea for letting us invade for the weekend, and to Abby for letting us interrupt her busy school schedule! :)  We had a great time!
